Frequently Asked Questions

Are there restrooms on the boat? +

Yes. The 25-foot Sea Pro boats are equipped with flushable toilets; for afternoon tours we also recommend using the restroom at the boat park before departure.

What is the typical boat ride time to the islands? +

The ride to shelling destinations is typically 15–20 minutes.

Is this tour suitable for children? +

Yes. Tours are family-friendly and suitable for all ages; contact the operator for guidance about very young children or special accommodations.

What is your cancellation policy? +

Full refund if cancelled at least 7 days (168 hours) before the tour. Optional trip protection costs 15% of the booking fee and allows cancellation up to 48 hours before the tour for a full refund. Cancellations less than 7 days or no-shows are non-refundable.

Will I definitely find a lot of shells? +

The tour visits areas known for abundant and diverse shells, but shelling is a natural activity influenced by tides and weather; specific finds cannot be guaranteed.

What happens if there rain, lightening, or high winds? +

Safety is our top priority. Our captains monitor conditions in real time.

Rain: We don’t cancel for rain alone. Bring rain gear; dry storage is available on board. We may briefly delay or reroute to avoid heavy downpours.
Lightning: We do not operate in lightning. If present, tours are delayed, rescheduled, or canceled. We follow a strict 30-minute safety-pause protocol.
High Winds: If a Small Craft Advisory affects the open Gulf, we often still operate comfortably by utilizing the protected bays and backwaters of the Ten Thousand Islands.
Captain’s Discretion: The captain makes all final safety calls. If we must cancel, we will reschedule or issue a full refund.
Tours Cut Short: If weather cuts a tour short before the halfway mark, a prorated partial refund is issued. No refunds are given if the tour is more than halfway complete.
